Pamina – Opera Australia 2018

Pamina – Opera Australia 2018

Soprano Daniela Leska has performed the role of Pamina  in Opera Australia’s eight-month production of Mozart’s opera “The Magic Flute“.  This fully–staged, 50-minute production has toured New South Wales from February to September 2018, visiting some 250 odd schools. The creative rehearsal period was led by revival director Priscilla Jackman and musical director Luke Spicer.

Sincere thanks to Opera Australia for permitting photographer Phil Erbacher to capture the rehearsal process (scene work photos featured below) and a highlights video from the Launch Day Performance.  Below this, sincere thanks to photographer Charles Blevins of Claremont College in Randwick for performance photos from Monday 26 March, 2018.
