Opera Finals – June 2018
Daniela Leska is humbled to have been awarded 2nd prize in the Opera and Arts Support Group Vocal Scholarship (30 & under) amongst such talented finalists in the Sydney Eisteddfod. The finals adjudicators were Bryan Castles-Onion AM and Nicole Youl. 
Friday 29 June
7 for 7.30pm start
St Columba Uniting Church, Woollahra
Two operatic arias (including the aria from the heats) will be performed consecutively. Total Performance Time of up to 12 minutes. The Scholarship Winner will be paid half upon winning with the balance in six months subject to application with evidence of studies completed, plus a detailed plan for future studies for consideration before the balance can be paid. Total Prize Value: $17,000.
Winner: OASG Scholarship: $10,000 (payable in two equal amounts, with the first instalment upon winning and the second instalment six months later, subject to proof of continued tuition).
2nd: Paul Worthington OAM Encouragement Award: $5,000.
Audience Vote for the Graham Matheson Award: $1,000.
Finalists (excluding place-getters & Audience Vote): $250 each.
