Daniela Leska has the pleasure of learning with Anthea Moller and performing in this celebration of her 80th birthday.

The Opera Australia Benevolent fund is pleased to present a superb concert in tribute to one of Australia’s great singing teachers of the last 25 years, Anthea Moller.
Born in NZ, Anthea has held lecturer in voice positions in Auckland, Brisbane, Canberra, and at the Australian Opera Studio in Perth. She has performed extensively in Oratorio and recital, and been broadcast both by Radio NZ and the ABC. On the operatic stage, she has performed principal roles with the NZ opera company, the VSO, Opera Australia, and as The Moglie in Luciano Berio’s opera Un Re in Ascolto at The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.
Anthea’s students can be found as principal artists in many opera houses, both in Australia and overseas. Among numerous others, she has taught Keith Lewis, Ian Storey, Adrian Strooper, Anita Watson, Catherine Carby and Emma Pearson.
With highlights from Der Rosenkavalier, Otello, The Pearlfishers, Andrea Chenier, Aida and Rigoletto, join some of Australia’s finest singers, Jaewoo Kim, Lorina Gore, Michael Honeyman, John Longmuir, Zara Barrett, Luke Gabbedy, Ruth Strutt, Dean Basset Katrina Waters, Kent McIntosh, Daniella Ehrlich, Emilie Lemasson, Daniela Leska and Sharon Olde, accompanied by Michael Curtain and Colleen Rae Gerrard, in celebrating this legendary woman and her contribution to the music world.
