Opera @ Billich Gallery, The Rocks

Soprano Daniela Leska is delighted to be singing at The Billich Gallery in September for the private birthday celebration of renowned Australian artist, Charles Billich. Known for his avant-garde style, contemporary surrealist, Billich is a prolific painter, drawer and sculptor, working for the past 35 years in all media forms in an impressive breadth of subject matter including ballet, sport, architecture, portraiture, stage and classism.

Daniela will be performing with Opera Australia colleague and pianist, Benjamin Burton, and their program will include:

“Comme autrefoi” from Bizet’s opera Les pêcheurs de perles

“Deh, vieni non tardar” Susanna’s aria from Mozart’s opera Le nozze di Figaro

“Měsíčku na nebi hlubokém” from Dvořák’s opera Rusalka
